Steel Strand Synchronous Hoisting System Used for Steel Beam Erection of Guojiatuo Yangtze River Bridge

Guojiatuo Yangtze River Bridge is located in Nan'an District and Jiangbei District. It is a public-rail bridge with a total length of 1403.8 meters. The north tower is 161.9 meters high, the south tower is 172.9 meters high, and the main span is 720 meters. The completion of the bridge will also connect Liangjiang New District to the tea garden. The driving time in the area has been shortened from 40 minutes to 10 minutes. As an important part of the six vertical lines" of Chongqing's "six horizontal and seven vertical" expressway network, the upper level of the Guojiatuo Yangtze River Bridge is designed with two-way eight lanes, and the lower level is rail transit Line 8 The river crossing channel is reserved and is expected to be completed in October 2022.
Below we will show you the synchronization upgrade process. First, a 2,000-ton ro-ro cargo ship will transport the first steel truss girder of the Guojiatuo Yangtze River Bridge to the river surface below the center of the main span of the bridge. Subsequently, the steel truss girder with a length of 20.5 meters, a width of 39 meters, a height of 12.7 meters and a weight of 652 tons was slowly lifted by two synchronous lifting jacks with a design rated lifting weight of 800 tons. After nearly three and a half hours of hard work by more than 20 workers, the first steel truss girder was successfully installed on the sling.
