Project Overview

In the heart of Hong Kong’s dense urban landscape, a critical infrastructure upgrade required the rapid and safe removal of a pedestrian overpass. Facing extreme space constraints and a strict timeline to minimize traffic disruption, the project team utilized the KET-JS-250 Jack-Up System in combination with Self-Propelled Modular Transporters (SPMT). This "Smart & Green" method allowed for the bridge components to be lowered and transported with surgical precision.

The Challenges

The Solution: KET-JS-250 + SPMT

To meet these challenges, KIET provided the KET-JS-250 Jack-Up System, a multi-point synchronous lifting/lowering solution.

  • Synchronous Lowering:The KET-JS-250 system provided the stability required to slowly and safely lower the massive pedestrian bridge sections onto the SPMTs.
  • Low-Carbon Efficiency:The automated stacking logic of the KET series reduces the need for heavy auxiliary machinery, aligning with the project's "Low-Carbon" goals.
  • Versatile Integration:The KET-JS-250 is designed for seamless synchronization with SPMTs. While the Jack-Up system handles the vertical movement (lowering), the SPMT manages the horizontal transport, making it an ideal "kit" for bridge removal in restricted urban environments.
