The KIET TSD-Series Strand Jacks represent a sophisticated and highly reliable solution engineered for the precise lifting and lowering of exceptionally heavy loads. These systems are the preferred choice for complex projects where the use of conventional cranes is either impractical or not economical. At its core, a strand jack operates like a linear winch, utilizing a bundle of high-strength steel cables, or strands, that are guided through a central hydraulic cylinder.

The lifting and lowering process is achieved with remarkable control. Hydraulic power is applied to extend or retract the cylinder, while an intelligent system of automated wedges grips and releases the strands in sequence. This method allows for incremental, highly accurate adjustments in the load's position. A critical safety feature of this design is that the load is mechanically locked by the anchor wedges at all times when not actively being moved, ensuring complete security.

Designed for durability in demanding conditions, the internal components feature a specialized anti-corrosion coating, making the TSD-Series suitable for marine and other harsh environments. The entire operation, even with multiple jacks working in unison, can be managed by a single operator from a centralized, safe location using KIET’s advanced Smart Cylinder Control system.
